Welcome to Ananda, a new haven for meditation, breathwork, and all things mindful.  I am very excited to open our doors and hearts to this amazing community. Whether you’re a seasoned meditator or just starting your journey, Ananda is here to support, inspire, and guide you every step of the way.


What is Ananda All About?

At Ananda, we believe that meditation and breathwork are powerful tools for transformation. The aim is to create a nurturing space where you can explore these practices, learn both the spiritual significance and the science, connect with like-minded individuals, and discover the incredible benefits of breathwork and meditation. Here’s what you can expect:

  1. Learning Approach: We will blend the scientific and spiritual aspects of meditation and breathwork practices, offering a well-rounded experience that speaks to both the mind and the heart. The aim is always to ensure you know ‘the why’ of what you are doing. Knowledge precedes experience – as all of our teachers have always maintained.

  2. Inclusive Community: Ananda is a place for everyone. Whether you’re new to meditation or have a long-held practice, you’ll find a welcoming community ready to support your journey.

  3. Expert Guidance: We are passionate about sharing our knowledge and guiding you towards practices that resonate with your soul. Our teachings encompass a broad spectrum, blending spiritual and scientific insights. We cover topics such as mindfulness, meditation, visualization, chakra work, sacred geometry, sound, and silent meditation. We will also run, from time to time, Sacred Reflections, where we can learn more about the sacred teachings from those who walked the earth before us, guiding us with their wisdom and light.


What We Offer

At Ananda, we offer a variety of classes and workshops designed to meet you where you are:


Meditation Fundamentals offers a comprehensive exploration of meditation techniques alongside the scientific evidence that illuminates the profound benefits of these practices, thereby empowering individuals to cultivate a deeper understanding and appreciation for the art and science of meditation.  Practical support and guided breathwork and meditations, are included in each class.


Group Meditation Sessions combines the power of breathwork and meditation in a group setting. Our sessions are suitable for all levels and focus on different teachings each week.  The meditations will be longer in this session in comparison to Meditation Fundamentals.


Yoga Nidra: is a profound practice that intentionally guides you through various brain wave states, leading you towards the theta state, where profound healings can manifest. It is practiced lying down and you are fully guided through the meditation.  It has great value for beginners to meditation and those challenged by persistent thoughts. Its therapeutic value extends to individuals dealing with sleep disturbances and insomnia, trauma, anxiety, or depression, offering a gateway to the profound states of meditation.

 

·Sacred Space Reflections is a series designed to share the profound wisdom of sacred teachings imparted by the masters who walked the earth before us. These sessions delve into timeless spiritual insights and practices, offering a deep connection to ancient wisdom. Through thoughtful discussion and guided experiences, Sacred Space Reflections provide an opportunity to explore and integrate these teachings into your own life, enriching your spiritual journey and helping you uncover the profound truths that have guided humanity for thousands of years.


Private Sessions are for those seeking personalised guidance, we offer one-on-one sessions tailored to your individual needs.
