Meditation Fundamentals
Within the realm of meditation, there are literally hundreds of meditation techniques encompassing practices from different traditions, cultures, spiritual disciplines, religions and now science. And each of these techniques and styles will suit different people at different times. From shamanic meditation to yoga nidra, from mindfulness and loving-kindness to mantra to visualisation, the options are overflowing.
And the reasons people come to meditation are equally as diverse. To eliminate pain and disease, reduce stress and improve sleep, to become more peaceful and balanced, for heighten energy and awareness or to come to know oneself deeply or to connect to the divine or consciousness.
To become conscious of our unconscious thoughts by slowing down our brain waves and getting beyond our thinking analytical mind. To enable us to become witness to our thoughts and emotions and removing our identification to both. To hold intention for others or oneself, to take control of what we manifest in our lives or simply or to experience the life changing power of meditation, the ability to bring our bodies into homeostasis whilst knowing how to stop looping thoughts and feeding thoughts.
No matter what we are seeking, our purpose at Ananda is to help people find stillness and presence to enable them to move beyond themselves and into the field of possibilities.

Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is a profound practice that intentionally guides you through various brain wave states, leading you towards the theta state, where profound healings can manifest. As you embark on this practice, embrace the awareness of this journey, and make a sincere commitment to remain fully present as I gently lead you into this transformative and healing state.

Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation”. It is practiced lying down and you are fully guided through the meditation.
The practice draws our attention inwards, and we learn to move between states of wakefulness and sleep, where our body finds its natural state of equilibrium (homeostasis) – the breath balances and becomes quiet, unconscious and conscious aspects of the mind reveal themselves, and we fall into an innate state of deep, blissful awareness.

As we rest here, we can turn our attention easily and effortlessly to the very nature of awareness and consciousness. We start to experience the ‘deeper’ features of yogic teachings, such as feeling our interconnected wholeness and becoming aware of our true, unified nature – expansive, inclusive, and deeply restful.

It is for absolutely anyone but is fabulous for those new to meditation and those that struggle with letting go of their thoughts.
It has immense value for those suffering from sleep deprivation, trauma, anxiety or depression (to any degree). It’s also perfect for those who have always been curious about the deep states of meditation they have perhaps read about or stumbled across themselves but have never been able to recreate.

Shamanic Breathwork
Shamanic Breathwork is a powerful practice that uses deep, rhythmic breathing to access altered states of consciousness, promoting emotional, physical, and spiritual healing. On a physical level, it enhances circulation, oxygenates the cells, and stimulates the body’s natural healing processes, leading to increased vitality and relaxation. The practice also reduces stress, alleviates anxiety, and improves sleep by activating the parasympathetic nervous system.

Emotionally, Shamanic Breathwork helps release stored traumas, limiting beliefs, and unresolved emotions, bringing a sense of emotional clarity and inner peace. Spiritually, it allows for deep self-exploration, offering transformative visions and connecting you to your higher self.

A Shamanic Breathwork Journey

Shamanic Breathwork combined with visualization is a powerful practice for reprogramming the subconscious mind. This profound journey helps release outdated beliefs and patterns that no longer serve or protect us.
These transformative sessions detoxify the body, restore homeostasis, and support emotional balance and mental clarity. Through guided breathwork and subconscious reprogramming, you can release emotional blockages, access expanded states of consciousness, and heal limiting beliefs—creating space for lasting growth and inner freedom.
The Shamanic Breathwork Journeys are scheduled each week and each class is limited to five people. The Shamanic Breathwork sessions can also be booked privately for yourself or up to five of your family or friends. These private sessions are scheduled at a time that works best for you.

Shamanic Breathwork and Visualization to Tune into Your Heart’s Desire
We perceive what is in alignment with our own energetic frequency.
Our minds act like antennas, capable of tuning into an intention. When this intention is charged by the heart, a magnetic force is created that can attract different realities into our lives. Emotions are incredibly magnetic.
While many understand this theory, it becomes transformative when you experience it firsthand. By attuning yourself to a higher frequency, you open the space to attract what is truly meant for you.
Through deepening coherence between the mind and heart, we draw to us aligned synchronicities, people, and experiences, expanding our ability to manifest what is in perfect harmony with our highest self.
These sessions offer insight into working within the layers of consciousness. Designed for intimate groups of up to five people, these sessions can be built upon, allowing for a deeper exploration with each workshop.

A Guided Vibrational Healing Experience
In collaboration with the incredible healing power of Casey, biofield tuning practitioner and sound healer from The Biofield Body, we will be offering the Sacred Sound Meditative Journey each month.
Every session will guide you through a unique healing experience, exploring new vibrational frequencies and meditative practices to deepen self-awareness and spiritual connection. These journeys create a sacred space for healing, relaxation, and alignment with your highest self. Join us monthly for a new and transformative experience.
